Quinn Archbishop of San Francisco 445 Church St. San Francisco, CA 94114 Dear Archbishop Quinn: The Cub Scouts and parents of Pack 17 Boys Scouts of America of St. Brigid's Church and school are extending their wishes that you will reverse your decesion to close the church. We are 25 families strong that meet once a week using the school auditorium as our base and meeting place. Should the Church close down we would have lost our spiritual guidance. Presently at the time we have a few young scouts who are eager to start working on their religous award which is a long process and without Church how can this be done ? As cubmaster I am trying to enrich and enlighten the lives of these young boys . We are a growing group that started with six families of spring 1993 and we have grown in numbers, and are still showing signs of increasing our membership. This proves our Young children are showing signs of viability we must not forget these young students are our future. Our Cub Scouts are pleading that you please keep St. Brigid Church open .
