Quinn Archbishop of San Francisco 445 Church Street San Francisco, Ca. 94114 Your Excellency: This letter is written on behalf of the Liturgy Committee of St. Brigid's Parish, San Francisco. The Liturgy Committee has as its goals the coordination of services and supporting activities to enhance, exemplify and enrich the worship environment of the Faithful of our Congregation. Such activities include ideas for music, Holy Season celebrations, liturgical decorations for special church year events, such as Advent and the month of All Souls. It's aim is to bring a sense of unity, vitality and recollection to the minds of our parishioners on a continuing basis. We as a Committee prayerfully and lovingly ask you to re-consider the closing of our Church. As an assist and outward sign to the hopeful continuation of St. Brigid's as a viable and productive parish in the Archdiocese of San Francisco, the Liturgy Committee proposes to organize a Prayer Service for the benefit of all peoples who are able and desire to attend.
